Medosist is a doctor discovery platform operated by Sanyuv Ventures, a company registered in India. We help patients find verified doctors across Indian cities and allow medical professionals to list their practice on our platform.

2. Information We Collect

From Patients / Visitors:

• Search queries (specialty, city, doctor name)
• Mobile number if you submit a call-back request
• Browser type, IP address and pages visited (via server logs)

From Doctors (Registration):

• Full name, specialty, city and hospital/clinic name
• Qualifications and years of experience
• Email address and phone number
• Professional bio and profile photo (optional)
• Payment transaction reference (processed via Razorpay)

3. How We Use Your Information

• To display doctor profiles to patients searching on Medosist
• To process doctor registrations and verify profiles
• To contact you regarding your registration or call-back request
• To improve search results and platform quality
• To comply with legal obligations under Indian law

We do not use your information for automated profiling or sell your data to third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Payment Information

All payments on Medosist are processed securely by Razorpay. We do not store your credit/debit card details on our servers. Razorpay is PCI-DSS compliant. We only retain the payment reference ID for record-keeping purposes.

5. Doctor Profile Visibility

When a doctor registers on Medosist, their profile — including name, specialty, city, hospital, qualifications and experience — is made publicly visible on the platform. Phone numbers are only displayed publicly if the doctor opts in during registration.

6. Cookies

Medosist uses essential cookies only — to maintain session state and basic functionality. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect some features.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. We may share information with:

• Razorpay — for payment processing
• Hostinger — our hosting provider, for server infrastructure
• Law enforcement or government bodies, if required by Indian law

8. Data Retention

Doctor profile data is retained as long as the listing is active. Call-back requests are retained for 90 days. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent for your phone number to be publicly displayed

10. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including SSL encryption, secure database access and restricted admin access. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the IT (Amendment) Act, 2008. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India.
